MANILA BLAZING PADDLES

The Manila Blazing Paddles (Inc.) is registered as a non-profit, recreational and sporting association with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The MBP was accorded a juridical persona by the SEC on 20 July 2001.

The MBP’s aims are as follows:

To promote, practice and excel in dragon boat rowing as a team sport and contribute to the advancement of this sport in the Philippines

To foster positive personal and team values such as sportsmanship, discipline, healthy lifestyle, unity and solidarity

To serve as a training ground to affirm and enhance its members’ personality, leadership potential and skills.

The MBP was founded on 9 September 2000, and is an active member of the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation ( PBDF).

MBP may be found training at the Manila Bay, at least four times a week(Tue, Thu, Sat and Sun). Otherwise, we are attending to schoolwork, jobs and/or families.
